Question: - How was it possible to lose the last day of 2015 from your life without really noticing?

Answer: - Depart from Dallas-Fort Worth airport on Qantas flight QF8 at about 8-30pm on December 30th and land in Sydney some 16½ hours later at about 6-00am on January 1st.
