Re: Useless Information!
I used to enjoy it before all the eastern bloc nations (ex-Soviet states) joined in and it all became very political. I actually have that track on a CD which was issued earlier this year containing 40 songs from 1956 to 2014 which was in celebration of the 60th anniversary.

If you could dig a hole to the centre of the Earth and jump in, it would take 21mins. of falling to get to the bottom.

After digging it, you'd have a hell of a job to climb out so you could then jump in again.Mel wrote:If you could dig a hole to the centre of the Earth and jump in, it would take 21mins. of falling to get to the bottom.

Re: Useless Information!
Question: - How was it possible to lose the last day of 2015 from your life without really noticing?
Answer: - Depart from Dallas-Fort Worth airport on Qantas flight QF8 at about 8-30pm on December 30th and land in Sydney some 16½ hours later at about 6-00am on January 1st. It was also possible to board a flight in 2016 and go back to 2015. This flight took off from Tokyo at 0-10am on January 1st and landed in Honolulu at 11-25am on December 31st.

I always though that a clip round the ear was being hit round the ear .The origin of a "clip round the ear" was a sign that you were a bad lot,a piece of the ear was clipped off with shears.
