The term 'Hat-trick' originates from 1858 when cricket fans held a collection for the cricketer H. H. Stephenson who took three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds.

Booze is a hamlet in Arkengarthdale, in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire. Interestingly, it doesn't have a pub.
