Gardeners' Patch!

Post by Gary » Sun Mar 02, 2014 5:07 pm

I think there might be quite an interest in gardening among many posters here.
So how about a section devoted specifically for gardeners? Perhaps called "Gardeners' Patch" or something similar?

Good idea Gary. It is too cold to enjoy doing stuff (in my opinion) at the moment but it won't be long before I am out there. I have tulips out at the moment which seems very strange for this time of the year. I also have a pond to construct at some stage.
It's grim up North...

Members are free to start topics if they wish. I would suggest a topic such as this should be in the Hobbies, Pastimes and Interests board.

We have Snowdrops,Crocuses and Daffodils (mini ones) all blooming at the same time.Once upon a time not to long ago each would bloom in sequence - Snowdrops then Crocuses followed by the Daffodils and not forgetting our Primroses which have not stopped blooming for a good year.

Please note that this topic is in the Comments and Suggestions board. Someone should start a topic as I suggested above.

Not what I had in mind really. I was thinking more along the lines of a devoted section like "The Chefs Corner" but for gardening instead!

Ah, so you mean a dedicated board where topics on different gardening subjects can be started. That's not a problem, I'll see what I can do, Gary.

edit: This has been set up and can be found at the bottom of the 'Community' board.
