Just to say I am looking forward to being on board after the chaos that has obliterated Streetlife.
It might take me a little while to get used to a new site, but I will get there.

Hi all,
Yes am another soon to be ex streetlifer and thanks site admin for accepting me..
Hopefully we can start some lively debates, must say got bored of the green bin saga, something more original perhaps...
This site appears smarter than SL,but I am very used to SLs more "open format", without going into rooms, so will take time for me to get used to things here I think..

Welcome Rach If you only want to discuss Lowestoft topics stay in the local news threads or opening and closing or just the chat threads , but take your time and you will I m sure enjoy the rest of the site too there is a lot to get used to but it is worth it

Hi Pan69 glad to see you here looks as more Streetlifers are jumping here than to Nextdoor, too American for me sad to see Streetlife go but very pleased to find MyLowestoft :)

It's funny how MyLowestoft could be here so long without people knowing. Prior to MyLowestoft we mostly used Lowestoft Online but the sites engine conked out so we all moved over to MyLowestoft which was sort of a spare domain. This is now owned by Boatbuilder who has done a great job to keep us all together. Lots of ex Lowestoft people from all around the world on here too.
It's grim up North...
