Hello! I haven't come here from Street Life...

....I was just browsing the web looking for sites about Lowestoft and found this one.
I was born in Kirkley as was my mum before me and lived there until I was married. I still have a home there and my children and grandchildren enjoy spending holidays there. One part of the family is there at the moment and posted a photo of the gorgeous south Lowestoft Beach yesterday with hardly a person on it. Where have all the summer holiday makers gone? They don't know what they are missing. See below

I shall enjoy exploring the site in more detail and may well post some memories of my own sometime.

Welcome to MyLowestoft salthead. That's s good question about the holiday makers but I suppose we can't judge by just the one day.
