Latest post of the previous page:

We've been given several £10-off vouchers, the current Mrs H went there and only bought the things on offer so that we did actually save some money and now they've given us another handful of them.

Its Aldi for me, I get everything there that I can and then get the remainder from my local Tesco. I wouldn't use Tesco at all if Asda and Morrisons weren't a 12 mile round trip away.

Candy, so do Asda and Sainsbury's who will deliver here from Yarmouth and some of Morrisons stores (although not in Lowestoft as yet).

Is that what you actually shop for in store and then they deliver it, as the Coop in Carlton Colville will do, or do they take orders online and do the picking for you as well?

Morrisons for me as it is closest and most convenient, If Aldi or Lidl was closer they would probably beat them, can't stand Tesco or Asda and haven't seen a Sainsburys in years.

Yes BB Iceland will deliver your shopping even if YOU pick it out in the store just like the Co-oP does in Carlton Colville
its very hard to say a favourite store when we (the boss and I) use many but NEVER Tesco

So I take it they don't do online orders, which I also asked.

It is now three years since Gary set up this topic and poll so it would be interesting to see how opinions have changed in that time with all that has been happening in the retail sector and elsewhere.
I have therefore amended the poll settings so members who have already voted can now change their vote if they so wish at any time, and with the many new members who have joined us recently then of course they are free to vote as well.
I have retained a copy of the poll result before this change was made so it will be interesting to compare it with any change that may take place if members have changed their opinions in 3 years and with the addition of any new votes.

If you had previously voted in the poll then your previous vote will now be indicated in the bullet button alongside the graph so you just need to click on another and resubmit in order to change your opinion. This can be done as often as you wish, but only one will register and the previous one will be reduced on the graph bar

Iceland do though as SWMBO works at the (other I mentioned) we have little need to look on-line as she is the veritable knowledge base on stock *which can be Soooooooooooo annoying at times :D
But I do know there is a few customers who get stuff 'picked and sent to them' which may or may not be via internet
I will endeavour to request an answer from her who knows (best)

EDIT: As from the horses mouth to sort of say ;;; NO there is not an online shop

I much prefer Sainsbury because in my opinion the meat is better quality, even though we have to travel to Yarmouth from Lowestoft, I feel it is worth it. It's a smallish shop which suits me as I cannot walk very far. The staff are friendly and the cafe is peaceful.

I use Longworth in Gorleston Road.

Good meat and great staff, and the greengrocer next door is very handy.
I before E except after C - That's weird
