I don't like those skinny French fries Frankiesays although I notice you mention your 'kids' and 'McDonalds' and I think a lot of youngsters tend to go for the French fries because of McDonalds. I like Morrisons' bacon bits - a big kilo block of good lean bacon bits for not much over a pound. Great for bacon omlettes, carbonarra and bacon and chorizo chicken casseroles.
