I'm glad 'The Happy Snapper' didn't become 'Man Overboard', Mel. Although I've been away a while I have had a look at your Flickr photos occasionally. As someone who likes playing around with photos I particularly like 'Mono, Tweaks and HDR'.

Glad you like some of the Flickr pictures Dave, I try and put something on there every week.

Don't think I would dare sit on this seat like this gent as I think I would have a lot of trouble getting up from it!!

A busker we saw in Cyprus with his accordion. He was off the beaten track on a path leading to the beach. I don't think he could have made much money, but he seemed happy enough.

Congratulations, nikkai - lovely little chap. Would he have been one of your 'visitors'? If so, why were you so joyous about their departure?

He was one but it was the "grown ups" from afar who seem to be senseless ! the child is the responsibility of it's parents and they the parents are happy in how they are doing so need NOT to have to have things like being told the NAME is wrong! and you should do this or that when those people had their child over 40 years ago !
Myself and The wife have said that IF mum & dad want to ask they can to which there has been a few questions which we answered to the best of our ability and always said that the final decision was theirs no matter what they decided we would and do support them (they are doing a very grand job so far)
I suppose the meeting was done here so that there could be some sort of oversee as to the overbearing input from some! which had started on the phone when our daughter rang them to say she had given birth to a son.
to be told that "they should have been told she was expecting" seemed a bit off in my books, and the choice to say anything was left to the two people it really concerns

:argument: :argument: best I sign off and cool a little :(
