The sun shines on the righteous, in this instance on those in the Fleetwood area. I took this from Middleton Sands. I tried lessening the exposure for a more dramatic result on the second one but although the sky looks better the foreground was poor definition.

I'd have been inclined to crop the bottom 20% off the second picture, frankie which would have given more emphasis to the remainder of the image.

Re: Landscapes & Waterscapes
We went for a trip up the hills overlooking Lancaster the day after New Year's Day to see the sunset setting over Wales. There was a bit of a fog bank preventing us seeing that far or even as far as Liverpool but it made for a better picture I think. Here are two taken from the same spot with one being a smaller panorama than the other e.g. one just wide angle and one panorama. I've been using my phone for these and have been experimenting with the HDR setting and lower exposure to make a nicer effect albeit a darker sunset than is naturally possible.

Yes good idea BB, I hadn't considered cropping, those concrete blocks are a bit unsightly too but are there to stop people driving their carsboatbuilder wrote:I'd have been inclined to crop the bottom 20% off the second picture, frankie which would have given more emphasis to the remainder of the image.

In the second picture, I take it that the car park at the left and right edges is the same car park, just different parts of it.

Yes BB the road is almost straight too so quite a wide picture as it is the same road.
