Latest post of the previous page:

These pictures were taken today on my journey back from Lancashire. Again from the Woodhead Pass looking mostly north.
The first picture is the full frame image resized to approx one-third size (1920 x 1280 pixels) for posting. The tallest structure in the UK - the Emley Moor Transmitter, which is 1084 feet high and is a Grade II listed building can be seen and is about 10 miles away to the north-east.

The second image is a crop from the above image at full resolution.

The third image was taken with the panorama mode but resized to half size (4096 x 928 pixels) for posting.

Thanks Mel. The turbines should be very productive there, it was very windy up there when I took them at about 10-15 am, and quite cool as well.

Also very peaceful,no traffic noise just the birds and general country sounds. Pure bliss, thats if you like to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

This is a photo I took earlier of a screen-print I have which measures about 1 x 0.5 metres. I have had this for about 10 years and still don't know the whereabouts of the scene. The picture is not framed and the 'frame' in the image was added by me.
