Under certain weather conditions they are visable from beside the canal,from the beach at Portiragnes and where I took that photo small country road.
The older people say if the mountains are clear it will rain in four days ,works sometimes.

Now you're sounding like a teenager, kerch. :D You'll have to let us know if they are right on this occasion.

I had a great view of the Pyrenees once, from the cockpit of a Boeing 737 aircraft in the summer of '84. In those days it was something that captains occasionally permitted when asked nicely. Not by me but by a business colleague I was flying with. There's a little story behind why he asked the stewardess to ask him. ;)

Yes it did rain and for several days in a row ,today at least was sunny .Two photos of one of my favorite places to search for Insects in a few weeks it will all be gone ,the French cut verges with vengence .

There's not many houses on that road ,only one is still occupied on that strech ,further up there are a few more .The road goes a far as the canal and there are more houses at that end.

It is a pity that they cut the verges so dramatically Kerch but one thing I noticed the verges do look litter free. Are they mostly litter free where you are? Locally here a lot of our country roads are litter strewn, household fly tipping and fast food packaging being dumped from car windows :x :x

Litter is a problem here too the ditch on the left someone has dumped parts of a wooden bed ,I do n't Under stand why they do it there's a free discharge in the village open every day.
