Canal early yesterday morning ,those little boats are electric . They are for hire and only allowed to go between the Villeneuve lock and the next one down at Portiragnes .

I've just had a look on Google maps and I estimate that it is approximately 4.6 kilometres, kerch. It's amazing what you can do with a length of garden twine. 32cm long where 1.4cm = 200 metres.

Not a very good photo of panel with distances between locks 4426 mths had to use my compact camera . never could get on with it . For me it's my reflex every time.

Canelete found out today it's all that remains of a river after the canal was dug ,used to go further into the village many moons ago.
