Latest post of the previous page:

The design of the boat no doubt serves a specific purpose. At least it's nice and clean. Looks like a twin-hull as well.

A bit more info about it HERE

It may be ugly to some but the idea is that it can travel "through" and not so much "over" the waves, most of the "working bits are in bulbous parts of the hulls (yes they are twin hulled craft) this allows greater stability and clearer deck area's though for the engineer it is not quite so much fun and he has to become a multi roll crew member (sometimes even as the skipper)

Not so much a workboat this one, more of a rich man's plaything. Seen at Southwold.

The 'Oilman' moored at the old Brooke Marine yard. She used to be part of the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service.

The last time I stepped aboard her the deck plates were very thin ! and looking at the wind & water line there was visible deterioration. I think there was an idea to convert into a live aboard ? but it looks much the same as it did then (about 3 or 4 years ago)

I get so confused by people who have two christian names instead of a christian name and surname. I have a customer called Allen Norman and I'm forever referring to him as Norman. It doesn't help that he spells his christian name like a surname either.
