Re: Ships & Boats
It looks like she should have stayed there for some work on the hull. However, having said that, she seems to have been in that state for quite some time, Mel. There is a picture here that was taken some four-and-a-half years ago and she didn't look much different then. There's more info if you click on the image on the page that opens.Mel wrote:She came out of dry dock looking like that Boatbuilder...so I don't know what happened!boatbuilder wrote:Ms. Rose’s hull looks in a pretty bad way, Mel.

Thanks for that Boatbuilder.
The hull of this ship looks in better condition. Picture was taken at the Gt Yarmouth maritime weekend a couple of years ago.

Both look as if a good wash and a lick of paint would n't come a miss .Plenty of water about as for paint ,know paint for boats can be pricey.

Mel... The link on your post comes up with a 404 Not Found error.
It appears there is a forward slash missing from the end.

Re: Ships & Boats
It's surprising what a difference just a '/' can make. having the '/' indicates the previous word or letters is a sub-folder and so it looks in the folder named 'en'. Without it, it looked for a file named 'en' in the website's root directory and couldn't find it.morty1753 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 10:45 amMel... I see from the map that Lowestoft isn't classed as a 'stop-over'. They probably just called in for a pint.
