Very enjoyable Boatbuilder, well put together 8-)

Saw this rat and wren in North Cove, the rat made an attempt to catch the wren which just managed to flutter onto a tree trunk to safety. But it didn't look a strong flier, so I do not know if it was a fledgling or an injured adult maybe.

The wren only looks young, but hopefully will be able to stay away from trouble (like our Freddie :D ).

This cygnet wants to be careful as it looks like the 'Wicked Witch' is watching it from the top right corner of the picture. The 'Wicked Witch' is an example of Pareidolia, a word I learnt a couple of weeks ago. The dictionary definition being...The perception of a recognizable image or meaningful pattern where none exists or is intended, as the perception of a face in the surface features of the moon.
