Flamingos,visited the port where I used to work and in a shallow lake were Flamingos have n't seen them there before.The bird by it's self I think is a youngester

Thank-you Mel,was n't really case of "caught" they were in a farmyard ,all they did was to make some Strange noises as I walked past,the same way Geese do.

kerch: are you sure those birdies are Quail? They look like Guinea Fowl to me. Online description of Quail - "Quails are very small and elusive and are usually heard rather than seen. The plumage is buff-brown with darker brown markings on the back and wings."

No apology needed! I only know that quails are smallish - and I’ve eaten Guinea Fowl - but not a whole one! :no:
