Looks like a good year for the Poppies and Roses, also the lilac has been spectacular this year - visually and scent wise.

Shame I am unable to post the scent of the Lilac - the smell that tells me Summer has arrived.

All looking good SB. Some of the roses seem to be a little late this year, probably because of the cold May, but at least they are now starting to catch up.

We have had a constant downpour all morning here so many of the flowers have taken a beating especially the Poppies and Roses - however the lawns are looking a good solid green and now require to be cut when the weather improves and of course when I am allowed by SWMBO as I am convalescing at the moment and being closely monitored after having a new motor implanted last week. :)

Glad to hear your 'new motor' has been fitted SB. I now need to wait for it to dry up and get out into my garden so I can keep on top of it.

Thanks BB and Mel,running presently at a steady 60 per minute as opposed to 34 before the op'. Wife is running on overdrive walking the dog (especially when it rains  ) I tell her she is doing a good job. Wondering why she keeps grinding her teeth when I tell her  ;)
