I thought I would post again photos of this Rhododendron in our garden trying to illustrate the progression from bud to full flowering bloom. We are fascinated by it as this was purchased from Llidl about five years ago without really knowing what it would be like other than it was a Rhododendron.

FC,we have the bluebells,however are still waiting for the Lily of the Valley to bloom. I bet those ones in your photo smell lovely.

FC,your Lily of the Valley put ours to shame,I looked again today and we have one little shoot poking out of the ground,the other half is not amused as she thinks I have dug them out and honestly I haven't touched them.

I really expected being by the sea mine would be behind yours I notice most of my stuff comes out a week or two later than even a few streets inland Now, now what have you been getting up to LOL
