Here is the whole thing Trigger; I had a look through some of my old pictures I had taken as I was sure I had a photo of the complete triptych...and for once my memory didn't let me down, taken three years ago. More good memories for you I hope...

Just been told by 'clever clogs' that it was two years ago not three that the picture was taken...she's right again

Thanks Mel - for reviving the memories of “days of old” - now vaguely remembered through the swirling mists of time! :D

I did Boatbuilder and the picture was in a folder called 2014Pictures!!. It must have been a 'momentary lapse of attention'
on my part ;) :)

I had an unplanned visit to this church and was pleased I did go and have a look; they had some interesting photo albums inside of the church and village over the last one hundred years.

Came across this gravestone on my travels yesterday and I thought it was a good epitaph; it is from a poem by Lord Byron.
gbml.jpg
So, we'll go no more a roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.

Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we'll go no more a roving
By the light of the moon.

I thought that this mini-biography of Gillian Barge might be of interest.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gillian_Barge

It seems her last role was in Love Actually in 2003 which must have been shortky before she died.

A lovely moving poem.

A short walk on Sunday around some of the Norwich Cathedral realizing we must return for a longer time to appreciate its historic beauty and its architecture, we did sit down for a time to listen to the Organ which was a little to loud for us although it was good to listen to the Choir. (note to ourselves - leave hearing aids out next visit)

I often visit the cathedral or the cathedral grounds Suffolkboy and I am always in awe of its architecture.

Visited the church of St. John the Baptist at Reedham yesterday, a church with old and modern features; the church organist was practising and although it was stop/start the sound of the organ made our visit very enjoyable.

Ely Cathedral.

On 'Look East' the other evening they reported that the cathedral was used in the filming of a television series 'The Crown', which is about the young Queen Elizabeth.
