Latest post of the previous page:

The answer is very complicated as you would expect of religion.

"By 1583 A.D. the table for determining the Ecclesiastical Full Moon dates was permanently established and has been used ever since to determine the date of Easter. Thus, according to the Ecclesiastical tables, the Paschal Full Moon is the first Ecclesiastical Full Moon date after March 20 (which happened to be the vernal equinox date in 325 A.D.). Thus, in Western Christianity, Easter is always celebrated on the Sunday immediately following the Paschal Full Moon."

I knew it was something to do with the moon but I thought I'd let you take on the task of locating and reporting the relevant detail. :D

I lost count of the hours I spent looking at that window out of total boredom at Sunday School and Church in my childhood.

I couldn't have drawn it from memory but it all came back as soon as I saw it.

All Saints, Chedgrave, Norfolk. A very well kept village church, one of the most welcoming I have come across. My wife liked it because it was warm :) , so many churches are cold this time of the year but at least some are still kept open. Came across a gravestone and the ladies name was Cherry Topping, which made me smile :)

I was in Martham on Friday and looking around the local church's graveyard, I came across this gravestone. With a name like that I am sure the lady must have had a cheerful disposition :)

The church is St. Mary's...

I wonder how many farmers will be using the light of the Harvest Moon tonight to finish the harvest...not many I expect ;) :)
The window is from St. Mary's, Martlesham.
