Macro and Close-up Photography

Oh Wow.....what amazing details on all 3 pictures. The caterpillar in detail is astonishing...the line that divides the pattern in half on it's back is perfect and the color too. That is a perfect shot of a butterfly with all the details....how did it not fly away? You had to be close to get that shot or maybe telephoto lens (don't know too much about that but heard of it). And the bug, the ladybugs i have seen had a reddish color so not too sure about that one but it is still beautiful....very detailed like the other ones. Thanks for sharing.

the Butterfly was busy eating .I have a telephoto lens it"s a small one don't need a tripod for close ups .Don't think I could manage one of the large ones they weigh a lot .
Bit late for a caterpillars hope it survives the cold .

Thank-you Anjalli ,have n't taken any photos for a while .Have n't been well just after christmas found out I had Shingles ,with a bit of luck will be better soon. :discodave: :hungover: Not hungover but did feel rough! ! !

Oh dear, I am so sorry to hear that, hopefully you feel better soon. Talking about shingles, I got the first vaccine a few Saturdays ago and have to get the 2nd dose end of March.
