Latest post of the previous page:

I watched the whole of the second series of The Fall this week, thoroughly enjoyed it although the first series was more sinister.

Watched this evenings episode of 'Midsomer Murders' Boatbuilder, weren't that impressed but coincidentally last nights 2008 episode had DS Ben Jones (Jason Hughes) playing cricket as a cricket match played a part of the plot; and in tonight's episode he was back as DI Jones playing cricket as cricket once again was a major part of the plot :o

We did get an early murder in tonight's episode though :D

I never saw the first series of the Swedish/Danish drama 'The Bridge' when it first came out. Yesterday I received an email from Amazon advising me that I had a couple of pounds which had been credited to me at some time or other in the past when I had made purchases and which were about to expire from my account. These 'credits' were for use when either renting or buying online videos, something I haven't done previously, so I decided to have a look at the Prime Video store and noticed the complete first series of 'The Bridge' was there for £6.99 so picked it up for just £4.99 and watched the first episode almost immediately. I just have to find the time now to watch the next nine episodes. :D

This evening's Antiques Roadshow "Holocaust Memorial" was a very moving edition.

I thought so too Trigger. Listening to the lady who still wore the little locket around her neck which she had in the concentration camp was certainly moving.

I actually quite like it. Don't watch it religiously though but I have no objection if I happen to catch it while flipping channels

I watched the program 'Stacey on the Front Line: Girls, Guns and ISIS' on Tuesday night which is well worth watching and is available on iPlayer at this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0 ... d=p04f26sh

Here is more detail:
The program contains some detail which some viewers might find upsetting.

I watched the third episode of 'Taboo' last night and it's living up to my expectations. I can see Tom Hardy spending more time writing and appearing in his own productions in the future.
If it were not for Thomas Edison, we would all be watching television in the dark.

I haven't watched any of 'Taboo' yet Dave but I have got it recorded. Was reading in the paper that the BBC has had a few complaints about the sound quality of the programme...will I need to get my ear trumpet from the attic before I sit down to watch it ? :?

You do have to listen hard sometimes, Mel, Tom Hardy talks quietly at times. It's not as bad as Jamaica Inn, known as 'Mumblegate', that really was bad. I shouldn't give Taboo too many good reviews as everyone's tastes are different, but I think it's excellent.

I watched the new Air Crash Investigation program on National Geographic on Monday which was about the Germanwings plane that was deliberately crashed into the Alps in March 2015 by the co-pilot.
