This image appears in today's 'Times' puzzle page with the winning caption from a previous week's competition shown below it. The picture was taken when William and Harry recently 'met' the Star Wars Droid BB-8. The caption was submitted by Graham Withers of Holt, Norfolk.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I have just been looking at the BBC online reporting of today's headlines in the papers and I want to assure you that I'm definitely not the 'BB' referred to in the headline in today's 'Daily Star'.
Apparently, it's something to do with 'Big Brother' - but I ain't got one... :?

On the way to Saffron Walden, just a few miles from where I live, is a village called Ugley. I've driven through it several times but only spotted 'The Beautiful Ugley Chequers' today. I found the photo below in Google images and thought it might be amusing to see. The quote is from this article on The Telegraph website.

'Likewise the village of Ugley. “Believe me, Ugley is not ugly. It is one of the most expensive villages in Essex,” says Dave Smith, of the Chequers pub, known as “the Ugley Landlord”. Residents are all rather attached to the village name, although there has been one concession. The Ugley Women’s Institute has changed its name to the Women’s Institute of Ugley'.

Did my driving through make me and Sheila 'Ugley Visitors'? It would take a braver man than me to mention it to her. :argument: :bandage:

Well only you can answer your question and if you don't post for a day or two, I'll know you did mention it to her. :D

I didn't know trees grew in the tunnels. :D

Yes, I do know that the Underground does also run overground in places. ;)

Don't laugh too loud, knowing British Rail it might really be their next excuse. :D
