I hope so, boatbuilder, minus the walking frame, though, so that I can bust a few moves. :D Out of interest, which site do you get your GIF's/Smilies from?

This is probably one of my all time favourite songs, it sits alongside the best Beatles songs in my opinion. 'The Boxer' by Simon & Garfunkel.

The past week saw the passing of the great country singer Glen Campbell. This is a track on one of his albums I have which I think deserves a place here.

I used to play this record on a pub jukebox many years ago, it was the 'B' side of one of Glen Campell's singles...no one ever guessed who it was and was always surprised when told :o :)

Apparently, not only could Glen Campbell play the guitar, but many other instruments, including the bagpipes :D, boatbuilder.

'In an emailed statement, Dolly Parton called Campbell “one of the greatest voices that ever was in the business”. “He was also one of the greatest musicians. A lot of people don’t realize that, but he could play anything,” she said.'

Listening to 'The William Tell Overture', Mel, I wonder what he would have made of 'Duelling Banjos'. Here's the article the quote came from that's worth reading, I didn't know he had a drug addiction.

Talking of 'Duelling Banjos', I just found this video, so we don't have to wonder anymore.

Trigger wrote:Born on August 10 – Leo Fender (1909 – 1991)

The U.S. inventor designed and produced the first commercially successful electric guitars, which were played by everyone from Buddy Holly to Eric Clapton.
Leo Fender was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992—a unique achievement given that he never learned to play the instruments that he made a career of building.
Jimi Hendrix also played a Fender Guitar, Trigger, and here he is playing Purple Haze.

The hairline, glasses and waistline are a little too close for comfort, boatbuilder. As you named that gentleman 'Disco Dave' I thought it only fair you had a Smiley named after you, so may I present 'boatbuilder junior'. :D

But he's only sailing it Dave, not building it.
I'd be happy with this though. :D
