I suppose it is quite straight forward AJ, a competition to come last. I am not to sure about this getting 'our members closer together' though, leave that to the MBO'sThe most recent Covid-19 statistics available for East Suffolk to May 1st 2024 are here - eastsuffolkcovid19.uk

Re: He who post's last wins....
I remember when my sister was at grammar school in the 1950’s their school sports day used to have a slow bicycle race and the person who came last, won. (this one wouldn’t have won though )

Re: He who post's last wins....
When I was at school I should have won many prizes, my teacher was always telling me I was a cert for the high jump.
If it were not for Thomas Edison, we would all be watching television in the dark.

Dick Fosbury won a prize for the high jump, an Olympic gold medal and his jump was a 'flop'

Athletics was not my bag at school unless we were watching the girls, that was an achievement on it's own without being spotted

Re: He who post's last wins....
Although I wasn't very good, sport was the only thing I enjoyed at school apart from maybe the 'spotty dick' and the 'jam roly-poly' we used to get for school dinners. The odd cigarette in the toilets and throwing snowballs at the teachers and making 'slides' in the playground winter times weren't too bad I suppose

We used to put chewing gum up Miss Nattell's exhaust pipe on her motorised bicycle !! She was always most displeased but she never knew it was me and Billy.

Lost contact with Billy Cook probably fifty years ago, don't even know if he is still with us so the chances of him reading this are pretty slim. The last I heard of him he was living in Kings Langley. Anyway no winners on this thread yet
