November 15th: Jeremy Hunt will break with tradition and not have alcohol when giving his financial update on Thursday. Chancellors have in the past had a glass of whisky when delivering from the despatch box.
November 16th. Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been charged by the Football Association with 232 alleged breaches of betting rules. The alleged breaches took place between 25 February 2017 and 23 January 2021.

November 17th: In his Autumn Statement, the UK chancellor, Jeremy Hunt warns families face "real challenges" as government forecasters predict the biggest drop in living standards since records began.
November 18th. President Volodymyr Zelensky has said 10 million Ukrainians are without power after a fresh wave of missile strikes by Russia. At least seven people were killed in the strikes, with the number expected to rise. "We are doing everything to normalise the supply," Mr Zelensky said in his nightly address.

November 19th: Rishi Sunak has pledged £50m in defence aid to Ukraine as he met President Volodymyr Zelensky in his first visit to Kyiv since becoming prime minister.
November 24th.Flossie the cat, just a couple weeks shy of her 27th birthday, has been crowned the world’s oldest living cat by Guinness World Records. The brown-and-black cat from southeast London is roughly 120 human years old, according to a news release.
