Afraid not, Mel. Two of those words go together but the other two are in separate sets.

I'm afraid not Mel. A similar situation as with the previous answer.

Here's a 'sort of' clue. None of the words in the last two answers are in a set which I think would be right up your street with the connection, Mel. That should help narrow the field.

I've been trying the obvious route, boatbuilder, words before and after, to eliminate a few but get nowhere. Give us a gentle nudge in the right direction, I don't want to admit defeat just yet. :)

Just for you, Dave.
Two of the remaining three sets involve a 'before or after' word and the third isn't - it is something that the words can be associated with.

Also, having just looked at my answers, it just so happens that one of the sets of the 'before and afters' is such that the initials of the four words as I had written them down spell out the well-used abbreviated name of a Scottish Premiership football team - but be careful otherwise you might still get it wrong :D

Good luck

I think the team is Hibs. there's only one vowel, Ink, so we have Hammer/Hair, Ink, Blind and Steam.
