Don't ask me, I wasn't the one who nominated the takers.

I wondered if a reason was given, boatbuilder, as I was watching from behind the settee I couldn't hear properly.

I don't tend to take much notice of all the chat from the commentators/presenters as most times they talk a load of c**p anyway. I experience the game as though I'm in the crowd and only hear the supporters.

Well done England, they certainly don't make it easy for us watching!! Why Colombia had to cheat I don't know, they showed before getting the equaliser and in the first half of extra time that they could play good football...but they got what they deserved; a plane ticket home

I felt a little bit more relaxed when the second goal went in!! A great result, looking forward to the game tonight to see who we will be playing.

Have enjoyed this years World Cup immensely, not only because England are doing well but I retired last year so this is the first time I have been able to watch the whole tournament

Another good game tonight with Croatia beating Russia 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw, to secure their place against England in the semis, although I would have preferred Russia.

Of course there's always the minority who spoil things and give the game a bad name.

It seems football is still coming home although it may be delayed 4 years due to heavy traffic.

Disappointing result but the England team done their best, that is all we can ask

Disappointing it was. I think they lost their way a little in the second half at times and weren't direct enough - still too many passes in the wrong direction when it didn't seem necessary. Better luck in Qatar 2022 and let's hope the heat isn't too bad.
