I would like to see Norwich get something from the game although I do not hold out much hope.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Norwich. Hubby is there and says he will be happy with just a draw - 0-0 at half-time!

I had very little faith too Suffolk Boy. I thought Man City would beat them 7-0 like they did last time.

Haven't been watching a lot of the Winter Olympics but happen to switch on and see the snowboard cross competition; what a skillful and exciting sport...if I was a couple of years younger I would have a go :)

Watched Venus Williams win the Dubai Championship this afternoon, she somewhat overwhelmed the French competitor winning 6-3,6-0 and looks like she is playing well once again.A part of her game I found somewhat puzzling, several times during the match she tossed the ball into the air to serve and promptly caught it deciding the toss into the air was not good enough, then proceeded to have another go at tossing the ball into the air and serving. I am puzzled that a tennis player can then have another go without loosing the point, anybody else have any thoughts on what I think is an anomaly within the game of tennis?

Swearing causes TV football delay

A television channel delayed transmission of a Scottish Premiership football match until after the watershed because of the amount of swearing that could be heard from fans.

Ross County's match with St Mirren was supposed to have been broadcast "as live" by BBC Alba at 17:30 on Saturday.

But the transmission was delayed until 22:55.

It is understood the channel had been concerned the amount of bad language would have breached Ofcom guidelines.

Full Story

Surely all the BBC had to do was have the microphones that were placed around the ground switched off.

And they owe that to their goalkeeper John Ruddy who made some well timed brave saves.
