Norwich could have done with a goal East Point. We will have to keep our fingers crossed that they can turn over the 'Gunners' next Sunday and that Sunderland lose their next two games...my apologies to any Sunderland supporters reading this

Conference league for them now but not sure whether it will be South or North. Well done Lowestoft!

I would imagine it is South, EP but can't be certain as I don't know how they work out the dividing line between the two, so it may well be north.

The decision on whether Lowestoft Town are in the Conference South or North is yet to be made by the FA’s National League System Committee, we should hear by the end of the month.

The best thing about the Commonwealth Games which is now taking place in Glasgow is you get to see some sports that don't usually get much TV coverage. Have enjoyed watching the judo and shooting which don't usually figure much on the TV, didn't like the squash though, in my opinion it is not much of a spectator sport, I think it is one of those sports which is probably better when you participate rather than watch. The rugby sevens was a super event, maybe football should take heed and instead of having those penalty shoot outs at the end of a drawn game have 15 minutes of football sevens instead.

The triathlon was also enjoyable (especially as the English contingent done so well) how fit they must be, swimming, cycling and then running, made me break out in a sweat just watching them. A pat on the back for the BBC too whose TV coverage has been in my opinion very good. Cameramen, commentators and presenters are all doing a great job, no whinging about paying the TV licence from me this year ;)

I have just been looking at the Lowestoft Town fixtures for this season in the Conference North and notice that there are a couple of their away matches that will be 'local' for Frankiesays - against Barrow and AFC Fylde.

Looking at the remaining fixtures they will certainly be doing a fair bit of traveling this season, I think the Barrow one being the farthest away.

Been enjoying the Swiss athletic meeting, just watched Adam Gemili take the gold medal in the 200 mtrs.I think we will be seeing a lot more of him at future athletic meetings.
Have also been enjoying the daily cycling stages also the tennis competitions, really glad we got BT Sport.

Yes quite close BB, Fylde would be the closest at about 40 mins away but Furness is more like 90 mins. I wonder if they will be bringing many supporters with them.
It's grim up North...
