Do you think you could still get a cigarette holder for the ladies that would fit an ecig? I did like that image, it made smoking almost seem sexy! :)

Very pretty! Although - and now I feel old saying this - the model looks young enough to be my daughter!

Instead of "excuse me, do you have a light?" I expect the modern phrase is "have you got a USB port mate?"

Cannabis vaping teen 'recovering well' in hospital

A teenager who was hospitalised after inhaling cannabis oil she bought online is "recovering well".
The 18-year-old was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Friday.
Police said she became seriously ill after she bought a product containing oil derived from cannabis plants which can be inhaled through a vaporizer.
Officers believe she may have had a "severe reaction" to the product which contained Cannabidiol.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said they were "very happy that the outcome for this young woman appears to be good" and reiterated their advice "never to buy or use any kind of drug obtained online".

Great line from the police
"never to buy or use any kind of drug obtained online".

So are they saying that we mustn't use Boots online store, and that other drugs should only be brought from a dodgy chap on the street corner? :)

An interesting read from http://www.nursinginpractice.com/articl ... es-smoking
It seems that health care professional are being given advice on vaping, and its far from negative
It ends with the following

Conclusion

As front-line healthcare professionals, nurses are exquisitely positioned to make a difference to health outcomes. With vaping they have an opportunity here to change patients’ lifelong smoking.

Maybe we have got to wait another 30 or 40 years before people start dying of vaping that they (our leaders :) ) start warning the populace about the dangers of vaping. That is if that is what happens as no one seems to have come up with a definitive answer to whether e-cigarettes are harmful or not.

On the subject of these e-cigarettes. I was in town the other day and someone was smoking an e-cigarette and I couldn't believe the cloud of smoke (vapour) that appeared from his mouth/nostrils it was amazing, I thought if he was on the pier head he would set off the fog horn!! :D

E-cigs probably aren't 100% safe, but compared to smoking, they are a far better alternative.

As for clouds, the latest pieces of kit can produce a lot of power, and hence large amounts of vapour.

The vapour idea has been around for many years and though we (model makers) have used them our units are larger and safer but the very same idea (without the added stuff) just de ironized water to make the "appearance of smoke" I have thought about using one of the e-cigarettes as a smoke machine for one of my small models but I can't find any flavorless or nicotine-less refills
The challenge is not to manage time, but to manage ourselves.

Nikki, the vapour part made of a mixture of Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine, both of which can be bought from e-bay, Amazon and plenty of other suppliers.
It contains no nicotine of flavour. Just add a small heated coil and off you go.
