Many people online locally have mentioned this on other sites too. The simple answer is no, as none of the funding came directly from the EU. However, politically all is up in the air. It was Cameron who gave us promises, and with him gone, any politicians could now say that due to leaving the EU our countries budgets have gone up the tube and all non-essential projects are temporarily placed on hold. Please note, in the real world this actually means cancelled. So basically, who knows?!?!

What about this £350 million a day we are 'supposed' to be saving by not being in the EU (which supposedly we won't be by sometime in 2018)? That still gives about 2-years to 2020 which is when we were told we would have the third crossing. Oh well, the damage is done now by the looks of things so it's now a matter of 'wait and see', I guess.

Might be a good idea if someone emails Peter Aldous for his comments on the matter. Any volunteers......? Now don't all put your hands up at once!

Whether you voted to remain or to leave you have got to admit the referendum has certainly stirred up a hornets nest at Westminster. With the Tories having to vote in a new leader/Prime Minister and the Labour party trying to get rid of their leader but can't it is certainly a more interesting political scene at the moment.

Maybe it is what the UK's parliament needed, a change of faces and ideas. People were bored with politicians and with politics in general, so maybe this is a wake up call and a hypothetical boot up the backside to all politicians.

Higher than some parts of France because I'm not that far from the sea but even so probably cheaper than England.Have 'nt look at house prices recently.I know that there is one house in the village for sale at around £52,000.

Obviously you are likely to suffer immediately as a result of the outcome kerch, and you don't even reside in the country any more.

It seems it is just not the 'luvvies' throwing their toys out of the pram.

I think that is a terrible statement to make about the result Funkychick but it is what we have come to expect from certain sections of the left nowadays; if they can't win an argument throw in the race card or say people are not intelligent enough to understand their argument or that they are too old!! I take it you don't mean old socialists ;)

Boris is not going to stand for the Conservative leadership:

I was actually hoping you would know FC because I would not have classified myself as either OLD, ignorant, xenaphobic, fascist or racist. And I am sure most of the population who voted out would not classify themselves in one of those groups either.

And wasn't Britain Great before the European Union? Maybe not.
