Whilst looking for something local, I came across this, which looks a very interesting 'document', although only available to read online.

I thought it might prove useful to anyone interested in local history and this page is the indexes which link to the various parishes, etc., and which contain historical information as far back as the 14th century, and possibly further, through to the mid-nineteenth century.
