Remembering Auschwitz.

Post by hookie » Tue Jan 27, 2015 6:21 pm

Have just seen the spot on ITV's local news about remembering the Auschwitz atrocities. We all know that vast numbers of Jews suffered the most there and in many other camps, but on no broadcast or report have I seen anything about the other groups persecuted and murdered in these camps. Gypsies, homosexuals, jehovah's witnesses and those referred to then as being mentally defective or deficient, were also killed in large numbers. A few thoughts in remembering them also......

You are very right I can only presume the numbers make the difference but definitely it should encompass all those other groups
Always be yourself because the people that matter don't mind, and the ones who mind, don't matter.
