I came across this Old Lowestoft website: http://www.oldlowestoft.co.uk/ which might be of interest.
There are some interesting old photos to be found in “Pakefield's fight against the sea”. One shows a removal vehicle (horse-drawn!) - on the side is “Bon Marche & Galleries - opposite Station - phone 14”! Bon Marche was, I believe, Tuttles store.
