Not Lowerstoft but very near.They found more historical evidence of town that fell into sea.It showed some pipe work red clay I found exactly same thing on the beach just passed Pontins,When I get energy I will take it to Dunich museum..
is there way getting there without a car apart from walking from Southwold

You can travel to Darsham by train and then bus to Dunwich.
There are options by bus all the way but several changes may be required.
