Helifix Masonry Reinforcement System

Post by busman » Sun Mar 04, 2018 10:26 am

I wonder if anybody has any experience of the above or knows of a local builder that can carry out such work. What it is, a previous owner of my house had a bay window installed, but the installer did not put a lintel over the window hence the bricks above the window have dropped. This Helifix system allows a builder to inject a reinforcement substance in the place of a lintel. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds a serious issue, busman.
It might be worth your while contacting the Area Manager as detailed in this link.

Avatars can be misleading, busman. :D

Hope you get it sorted and I'd be interested to know how it goes.

For information, we have a company called Reeve Property Restoration based at Stratton Strawless coming to do the work for us . Unfortunately they're busy for the next six months, but it'll be worth waiting for, and the quote was not as expensive as we thought it would be. Once again thanks boatbuilder.

Glad to hear you’ve managed to set something in motion, busman. It’s just a pity you have to wait so long for them to do it.
