Print / Photoopying

Post by slimboydim » Fri Apr 04, 2014 9:51 pm

Good Evening, I need to get quite a few sheets of text printed from
a memory stick. Is the Library my only option locally?
Anyone use anywhere else, cheap and reliable in Lowestoft?

Thank You.

How many sheets are you talking about and in what format are they? - i.e are they .pdf, .doc, or what?

Good Evening, they are .doc, looking for hundred,
sometimes more. Apart from the Library, I am not
sure who does them?

Thanks for your reply.

Is it one page printed a hundred times or different documents? I assume you don't have a printer yourself. If not, would it not make sense to purchase a cheap printer which would then be there for the future. From your comment 'looking for hundred, sometimes more' it sounds as though you have this done as a regular thing.

edit: I have PM'd you.

Good Evening, Thank You for reply and PM. I have managed to get it done
for now, may look to buy a text printer. Not many places in town seem to
do Photocopying / Printing. Guessing people have their own printers...

A very decent printer for £40 why bother with photocopying ,you can scan /print/ copy I cant imagine having a computer without a printer I write letters, print off receipts of things I ve bought online, copy photos, print of things I ve organised to do, bus timetables plane tickets, theatre shows etc etc etc Bought my printer at Rymans in town on a promotion delivered free of charge the next day

Sometimes requirements exceed the A4 size that the home style printer can provide.

I have an A3 size printer for such requirements.

....the average printer does the average job very well if there are times you need a poster size then you may need a commercial photocopier but for most daily things an ordinary printer will suffice and do a good job worth its weight in gold imo
