Re: Your Desktop
Mine. I don't keep any icons on the desktop itself. All my regular requirements are pinned on the task bar.

don't know how to show it
Always be yourself because the people that matter don't mind, and the ones who mind, don't matter.

Re: Your Desktop
When your desktop is visible, all you have to do is press the button on your top row that has "Prt Scr/Sys Rq" on it - should be the button to the right of F12. This saves it to the Clipboard.
Next open the 'Paint' program and click the 'Paste' icon in the tool bar and the desktop image should appear on the screen.
Save it to your computer but make sure it is saved as a .JPEG file as 'Paint' usually defaults to the .PNG file extension.
Make sure the file size is no more than the permitted size for the forum before posting.
You can use other programs such as 'Irfanview' and paste it in that.

Re: Your Desktop
I just have the programs I use frequently pinned to the Task Bar. All my desktop icons still exist on the desktop but they are all 'hidden' by un-checking the 'Show desktop items' option under the 'View' option after right-clicking on the desktop.
