I think the sim is written for XP though there was a "work around" to get it to run on Vista / W7 I remember the change made a couple of the help sections either not work or give the wrong information (think it was inverted) though as I don't use those they were turned off in the program preferences I believe (I will check) that the program is FAT where as Vista / W7 is NTFS
I could not get 'into' W10 to find out what it is written in though I suspect it is on the NTFS platform or similar .
My sim is quite old now but very functioning for my three aircraft / two helicopters and will allow full "off site" flight programing for take-off / landing and stall turns. If I log into a flight live weather stream it will take current wind etc for the calculations also IF I take the laptop to the field then with the transmitter buddy-boxed I can reprogram while in flight (so long as I'm not in take-off /land or stall modes) but that takes the fun out of
flying crashing
(plus the laptop battery is the weak link!)
The challenge is not to manage time, but to manage ourselves.
