Whilst looking for something else online, I came across an article about the history of the mobile phone in the UK and thought some of you, like myself, might find it interesting so I have started this topic which can also be used to discuss anything at all about mobile phones, not just this particular item.

To make it easier for reading, I have converted the article to a six-page PDF document through my browser's 'reading view' and have attached it here:
