When I put a card in I get a message popping in the bottom right asking what I want action I want it to do in the future but I don't bother as I would prefer to do it manually.

Try this action - it does work.

Open the Control Panel (I have an icon on the Desktop which was there from the start). In the search box (topright) , type 'autoplay', and then click AutoPlay when it appears in the window. In the list next to the device or type of media, click the new action you want to use and click on 'Save'. Done!

You may need to update the drivers for the card reader.
I went into a shop and said, "Can someone sell me a kettle." The bloke said "Kenwood" I said, "Where is he?"

As AyB hasn't responded to what I posted earlier in the week, perhaps he could tell us if he has resolved the issue yet and if so, how?

Further to my post on 12 Feb re: “Problem with this website’s certificate” - this was resolved when I phoned Kasperksy and is, of course, simple when you know how! You open their program and ultimately go to a page headed “Encrypted Connections”. This leads to a “button” marked “Install Certificate” - click on that - and the problem is solved! My apologies for not posting that it’s been sorted.
Must dash as I have a new toy with buttons to press and learn!

Hi Boatbuilder,
Just found this post again. I have looked on various sites and this seems to be a common problem when upgrading from windows8 to windows10.
Haven't really had the time to sort it out yet.

When I click on a link to a webpage - I'm often getting a notice that the page is “Not responding” - it says it's looking for a solution - but that usually fizzles out - which isn’t very helpful! I’m guessing that IE (11) is the problem. I’ve found MS “help” pages but these no longer seem active.
Can anyone offer any suggestions other than “use a different browser”! I’d prefer to stay with IE if possible.

Have you tried switching your computer off and on again?!
:)

Or updating Windows, or updating your actual browser? Or resetting your router?
Failing that, it could be an actual internet issue unconnected to your pc; this happened a few weeks ago with BT hosted sites.

My printer has given up the ghost after 10 years ,moved it and found a inkie puddle underneath and the inside was covered in ink too.

I'm thinking of replacing it with a Canon mg 3650,the old one was also a canon px 160. Has anyone bought the mg 3650 ? if so how did they find it?
