It sounds interesting Boatbuilder and I am sure it will change things but I must admit a lot of that techno stuff goes way over my head; although that is not surprising because I still haven't sussed out how Chris Evans can sit in a BBC studio in London and play music that I can listen to in my kitchen whilst having my breakfast!!

You are probably on 3G, FC unless your provider has, and your phone is capable of, 4G. It would normally give this next to your phone signal indicator.

Spectrum ZX makes a small comeback

The Spectrum ZX is making a comeback, of sorts, with the launch of a device called the Vega which allows you to play 14,000 games created for the iconic computer on a normal television.
The Sinclair Spectrum Vega is described as a “recreation of the 1980s personal computer” but designers have been able to condense all electronics from the original machine into a tiny amount of modern hardware.

I saw that Trigger so I ordered one.

It will go nicely alongside my original Spectrum, which still works.

I did enjoy playing those old games
I before E except after C - That's weird

I think I'll give it a miss. I'm looking forward to having a car which will drive itself so I can have a sleep on the way home. I doubt I'll be able to sleep though as I will constantly have one eye open to check. No doubt this technology will be scuppered by a new form of terrorist who will find a way of jamming the signal the cars use to detect each other.

If the cars are supposed to drive themselves, does that mean anyone could 'drive' one without even holding a license? Just a thought as you wouldn't actually been driving. Image Perhaps you'd need to have a degree in Satellite Navigation Technology, or something, instead. :D

If the car owner is in it alone - and “over the legal limit” - I presume they won’t be able to breathalyse him - as he’s not driving! Image

Driverless cars set to be tested in four English cities

The four English locations picked to test driverless cars have been named. Greenwich, in south-east London, and Bristol will each host a project of their own, while Coventry and Milton Keynes will share a third.

If you are also running the female sat-nav "voice" will the car still be able to park itself? Or will you have to get out and do it yourself? ;-)
