Indeed it is.

They're very good, kerch. Pastels can't be the easiest medium to work with as I would imagine you can easily smudge them as they don't dry out. The top picture looks very similar to the middle one in the exhibition photo.

Yes it is similar,I've a lot of photos of poppies and they tend to be similar,When they are finished they are sprayed with a fixative that stopes smudging.

I see, but you would still have to be careful whilst working on them before it's sprayed.

Yes,I'm right handed so I start at the left hand corner and work down and across that way I keep my hands off what I've done.

Nice pastel paintings Kerch. Good to know that you are well enough to carry on with your art - have fun and enjoy.

Lovely pastels Kerch. The framing of a picture/photo always adds to the enjoyment of looking at it I think.

Thanks for posting them kerch. As Mel says the framing makes all the difference as we have also found with my wife's cross stitches in the past.
Have you ever tried having them framed with anti-reflective glass? Whilst it doesn't cure the lighting problem completely, it does make a big difference.

Thank-you Mel, thursday I've another to collect from the framers. It's getting very expensive to have a picture framed will have to do smaller pictures in future.A frame plus mount and the labour cost roughly £60 size 50cmx80cm for a simple wood frame. :(
