If I remember rightly, Mel, you have Photoshop elements, is that a 'Negative' effect?

I have got the Photoshop elements Dave but 'Abandoned' and this one were done in Photoshop itself using the glowing edges filter and then just changing it to black and white.

White on a black background instead of the reverse is different, I'll have to see if I can do the same in PaintShop Pro. Do you have the complete Photoshop program now, Mel? I understand you have to lease it nowadays and it's quite expensive.

There's too much of this 'leasing' of software now. It's the same with the Microsoft Office 365. I am still using my Office 2007 which when I bought it, it had three licences. I'm now supposedly on my last license as this is the third laptop I have installed it on. If I ever have to change my laptop again I shall still see if it will install/register again. If not then maybe I will be able to buy another copy of an earlier version.

One of my first goes at using 'Layers' to create an image, 'The Magnificent Seven'. Without having a Google who can name the man on the left in the front row?

Not quite as sharp as your two, Mel, but PaintShop Pro does have 'Glowing Edges'.

Brad Dexter, aka Harry Luck, is the one I always forget. Driving home from watching the 2016 remake with my wife's son I was trying to name them all and couldn't remember Mr Dexter. I wouldn't be any good in a pub quiz I'm afraid. :)

The Chinese symbol for fire, created using a program called 'Flame Painter' along with PaintShop Pro. Next 'The Dark Knight' with the best Joker to appear on screen, Heath Ledger. Last, Charles Dickens with some of his books and characters.

These were created with the help of a site called Raven's Paint Shop Pro. The Rings and text came out a bit fuzzy in the first two. The third one used a Flood Filter to create the background and water. The diamond, Lords and unicorns were all downloaded from various sites.

On the anniversary of the day the Beatles announced they were going to break up here are two images I created some time ago. One light hearted one featuring 'Penny Lane' and another, more serious, of John Lennon's 'Imagine'.

Here are some Mandalas I created using the video tutorial below. It's a Photoshop tutorial but it can be done using PaintShop Pro. The previous Mandalas were done using the art tools that PSP provide.
