Do what I do SB and tell her that if she can do any better then to get out there and do it herself. :D
Unfortunately my wife can't do any better because of her condition but sure wishes she could get out there and do it. Seriously though, I don't tell her that anymore because it causes upsets.

Actually she did do some planting this afternoon and I had to guide her away from the Lily of the Valley location, however I still couldn't win as I remarked that our ESCALLONIA IVEYII was not looking to good,
The usual remark was forth coming, "You pruned it to much" Oh well - story of my life. She is lovely really,I suppose she has to keep a check on me. :D

Sounds more like you have to keep a check on her, SB when you said "I had to guide her away from the Lily of the Valley location". I still stand by my suggestion. :D

Thank you Mel and Meg. We have some other varieties of Rhododendrons, however this is our favourite - spectacular and the first to bloom in our garden.
Purchased from Lidl a few years ago for under a fiver and has grown larger each year,we never realized at the time it would develop into such a stunning shrub. I have since purchased another the same I think, will photo it and post.
