Cataract Eye Surgery

Post by boatbuilder » Thu May 03, 2018 8:42 pm

Having had this procedure carried out on each eye in little more than three weeks, as I have mentioned elsewhere on the forum, I have to say that the improvement to my eyesight is, for want of an even better word, 'amazing'. The second procedure was carried out just yesterday by the same Consultant Ophthalmologist who carried out the first - Mr T Butler - and his team at the JPUH, and to whom I am extremely grateful. It was stunning to go out today in the sunshine and see everything in a new light.

There are many videos on YouTube showing these procedures but I thought I would post this one as I can relate to more or less everything that is shown in it, particularly from the procedure yesterday, as after the first one I knew more or less what to expect and so was more aware of what was happening.
