Nearly Back to Normal
Sometime early last year, I discovered I had Cancer in my throat, after having the tumour removed and a course of intensive radio Therapy, I am pleased to sayI have had the all clear, however, as all my back teeth had to be removed and I am waiting to have eight or nine implants, and as I have lost my swallow reflex, I have spent a year living on soup.....it gets boring.......but I am still alive and kicking, and much more stream line, so sorry for my lack of contributions to the form, I hope you'll all forgive me.

There's nothing to forgive, Sheila. It's good to know you are on the mend, so welcome back and we hope to 'see' a lot more of you.

Well congratulations on your recovery Sheila and I hope it continues The thought of soup for a year is a bit off putting but a price worth paying for your health, sounds like one lucky lady you should write a book on a 101 ways to make soup I bet youve tried every flavour under the sun As a lady who love crispy food I can’t imagine a slop diet for a year but you ve obviously done really well
Has your voice box survived it?
Anyway CONGRATULATIONS and long may your good health continue
