Latest post of the previous page:

For everyone's information, Dave has now included a second link in his post that contains the PowerPoint 2016 Slideshow link, which now enables anyone who hasn't got the PowerPoint facility to watch (stream) it as a video from 'Dropbox'. It is also possible to download and save the video from the linked page, if anyone is interested. The file format is .mp4. This works OK on iOS devices as well as PC's.

There is a link to the 2017 Slideshow in .mp4 video format now included in the initial post at the top of Page 1, which Dave has produced from his PowerPoint presentation and is available from the MyLowestoft Dropbox to either view or download through that link. This means that everyone should now be able to view that slideshow in one form or another, as with the 2016 one which was posted a few days ago.

The 2018 winners slideshow is now on YouTube - here it is.

If it were not for Thomas Edison, we would all be watching television in the dark.

Thanks, boatbuilder, I'm hoping to get enough video's on YouTube so I can go on Strictly Come Dancing like Joe Sugg. :discodave:

Thanks for that Dave. Another excellent piece of workmanship. Well done! dancer1

As Dave knows, I have been creating a special web page on which all four Picture of the Month videos that he has produced to date - 2015 to 2018 - and future ones as they are added, are available directly from the forum's server and this is now available at the link below and the videos can all be viewed in 'Fullscreen' mode.

I have also expanded it to include links to a new monthly page which displays the current Picture of the Month along with links to the Picture of the Month Galleries. These are in the navigation bar under the Galleries heading. Also on the same navigation bar are links to the Picture of the Month forum topics - PoM Topics - and a link to the main Forum Index page.

A direct link to the new video page can also be found at the top of each page on the forum, immediately below the header image. This replaces the link to the old Picture of the Month page which will now be discontinued as it has been replaced with the new one.

Here is the link: https://mylowestoft.com/pomv/index.htm

Once again, thanks to Dave for his input into the project.

Thankyou kerch and boatbuilder, as I've said before, without the photos and the competition that produces the winners there would be no slideshows. drinker1

Once again, thanks Dave - another excellent production. :D

For those who don't speak Italian, the accompanying music (as shown in the end credits) translates as 'Once Upon a Time in the West (Finalé)', which Dave used at my request. :D

It can also be viewed on the 'Picture of the Month' Video page HERE.
