Macro Photography with a Smartphone

Post by Trigger » Mon Feb 09, 2015 7:33 am

“The Sony QX1 was used to capture a series of striking macro images, using only the lens-style camera attached to a smartphone to show the breadth of photography that it can produce.” http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/picture ... eaves.html

It seems that, without the “lens-style camera” the smartphone wouldn’t have been able to take such photos. Here’s a link to a “lens-style camera” - at a mere £379 - though it is a Carl Zeiss lens! Plus, of course, the cost of the Sony QX1 Smartphone! http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/cyber ... /dsc-qx100

Methinks I’ll stick to a camera!! :D
